Kendrick and I attended the biggest Summer event last Friday when SM Supermalls launched their biggest Summer Cartoon Fest. And as an avid fan of so many cartoon tv shows, it’s one of the fest that we couldn’t afford to miss!

The event was held at SM City Fairview,one of SM’s flagship mall, at the Annex Atrium around 4pm and people started lining up as early as 2pm to make sure they have a spot to watch the event.

Of course,what is cartoon fest without well, Cartoons,right? These cute little critters from kid’s favorite tv show come to life to put  a big smile on every kid’s  face as they watch them dance the music away.I’m sure all of us,who grew up watching the classic, could name every single character. Not included in the pictures are the Justice League heroes,Angry Birds,Tweety birds,Bugs Bunny,Robby Rabbit,Barbie,Ernie & Bert,Elmo,Cookie Monster of Sesame Street.

The Summer long festival will showcase a meet and greet with beloved characters all summer long until May 31. There are so many fun activities for the kids and for kids-at-heart. Activities like face-painting,coloring,games with cool prizes,arts and crafts among other things.

The public playground will be in its most busy season yet as summer is fast approaching. Two months to be exact and school in US will begin their summer vacation and we all know what it means for kids, all day outdoor fun and games and their most favorite, an afternoon visit at the local playpark.
Nothing beat the feeling of winds on your face while the swing sway you away and for kids, it means, endless of fun of summer.Just look at Kendrick when we went to the local playground the other day :)
