We went Apple Picking yesterday, it was organized by some of our church commitee. Apple picking is one of the favorite activity
of Pinoy, as we all knew that there's no Apple tree in the Phils during Fall Season. We went yesterday eventhough that morning, I got some not-so-great-news about my family back home, as we all know, Phils, specially most part of Luzon suffer to a disastrous typhoon,Ondoy, who by the way, until now I haven't heard from them because I think some part of Malabon and Caloocan still have no electricity and no phone. The last message that my sister told me was, she talked to my niece crying over the phone that they are hungry and didn't eat anything yet, and that was yesterday around 8am (my time).
Anyway, I try my very best to not spoil the event for my boys since it's gonna be their first time to do such thing, I live in US for quite a while but never had a chance to do it. We have an Apple tree in our backyard back then in our house in Ohio and whenever it starts bearing a fruit, wild animals have enough food for the winter assuming that Patrick didn't throw every single fruit in the nearby creek. :D . Anywho, the orchard have all types of Apple that you can think of, you can also eat your heart out while picking.
Here's the few pictures from yesterday.

Hi
Dropping by to ask for your prayers and support for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy. Many have already passed away, thousands are still missing and even more are left without food, shelter and clothing. Children have been separated from their parents. We really need your help - even in prayers alone as this was one of the worst flooding that has struck Metro Manila, Philippines. It is only now that we have started to rebuild, but the damages to life and property is horrendous.
Sincerely
Metz
